Pulaski Networks is a full service ISP (Internet Service Provider) serving Southwest Virginia and surrounding areas since October 2000. Our goal, quite simply, is to provide the fastest, most reliable dialup internet service possible.

Wireless (at last!)

We're now going full speed ahead with our high-speed wireless project! If you have a clear view of Draper Mountain (Peak's Knob), and you're within about 5 miles, we can provide high speed wireless access to your home. Please call or email us to schedule a survey and/or installation. Here's the breakdown on pricing:

Standard installation includes outdoor equipment, mounting bracket, up to 25' standard cable, pass-through of one wall and/or floor, and the connection of a single computer. Additional services availble based on time & materials, including, but not limited to:

• Flush or surface mount receptacle
• Wired or Wireless networking for additional computers
• Installation of wired or wireless network cards

* Equipment cost will vary based on individual requirements.
** After these payments have been made, the standard subscription rates will apply.

Computer acting funny? We can help!

Did you know that Pulaski Networks also works on computers? We can't promise any miracles, but if your computer isn't acting the way it should be, chances are good that we can help.

PC Restore - $75.00

• Backup of your important files (Documents, Pictures, Music, Email, Address Book, etc...)
• Format the Hard Disk (eliminating all the bad stuff)

• Download and installation of all Windows Updates

• We'll even install Antivirus Software

  • or we'll help you get set up with a free copy of AVG or Avast (our favorites)

Once all this is done, we'll get your Internet and Email set back up, restore your saved files, and install your choice of Anti-Virus software. If you don't have your own antivirus, we can help get you set up with either AVG or Avast Antivirus, both of which are free for home users.

While service can take up to 3 business days, we're often able to get these jobs turned around much faster. Additional software installation can be done at our regular rate of $45/hour

Minimum System Requirements - While we would like to help everyone get the most out of their computer, we do have to draw the line somewhere...

  • Valid Windows License Key (if you're not legal, we can help you obtain a proper license). Read more about software piracy.

  • Sorry, but we won't touch it, neither will Microsoft!

  • Our experience with MacOS is limited, but if you want your system reloaded and set up, we'll be more than happy to go over the options with you.

If you don't have enough memory, or want to upgrade your HDD or CD, we can do that too! Here's our prices as of 12/29/2005. These are subject to change without notice, so be sure to ask for a quote if you want to make a purchase. A complete and current price list is always available in our store.

Internet Accelerator Upgrade

We have a new version of the Internet Accelerator. The upgrade process was supposed to be fully automated, but it's not working out as we planned it. Please click here to download the new version. For help and frequently asked questions, click here.

After downloading, but before upgrading to the new version of the Internet Accelerator, you will need to manually uninstall the old version. To do this, click on Start > (All) Programs > Internet Accelerator > Uninstall Internet Accelerator.
