No matter which mail account you are using, if you are logged into
Pulaski Networks, you will need to use our mail server for sending mail. The
reason for this, is that over the last several years, the SPAM industry has
grown by leaps and bounds. The end result, is that network operators all
over the world have implemented strict policies against allowing people from
outside their networks to use their mail servers for sending mail.
The end result of this causes a mild inconvenience to end users such as
yourself, but there is a solution. Assuming that you are using Pulaski
Networks exclusively to connect to the Internet, you can use the Pulaski
Networks' mail server for all of your email needs, even for email accounts
on other networks. Here's a table describing your mail settings for
neighboring networks. If you are using an email account on a network not
listed here and need assistance in getting everything set up, please
drop us a note.

That depends on what you think is easy. For me, the easiest way to deal
with all this, is to choose a primary Internet Service Provider. Of course,
I'm biased and think you should choose Pulaski Networks to fill this roll.
Next, I would recommend that you decide which email account you want to
use to handle your all your messages. I would recommend that you use your
Pulaski Networks email account, as this will give you extra protection
against viruses, and will yield better performance than most other mail
servers.
Assuming that you do select Pulaski Networks to handle all your email
needs, you then need to set up forwarding for your other addresses. This
process is sometimes simple, sometimes not. For best results, you should
contact the provider for your other email addresses and ask them to set up a
forwarding rule to send all your mail to your PSKNET.COM email address.
Once you've decided on a single email account and set up your forwarding
rules, you will still receive all email from the other 472 addresses you
have, but they will all arrive in the same mailbox, greatly simplifying your
life and the lives of us folks who get paid to help you figure this stuff
out.
In short, here's our recommended view of the electronic world:
- Who's my Internet Service Provider?
Pulaski Networks
- Who's my primary email provider?
Pulaski Networks
- Where do messages sent to any of my 472 addresses go to?
My Pulaski Networks' email account
